In addition to tree surgery work, I am able to undertake a wider range of services for all your wood and conservation needs.

Tree Surgery

We undertake all aspects of tree surgery. We are fully qualified and very experienced and have noticed that there are many unqualified tree surgeons operating in our area. Unqualified and inexperienced tree surgeons can cause catastrophic damage to your trees which may not always be immediately apparent. We have had to remove many trees damaged beyond repair by unqualified tree surgeons. We would always urge you to check the qualifications and insurance of any tree surgeon you are considering using, and we are happy to provide ours.

Stump Grinding & Winch services

We can remove your stumps to 8 inches below ground level. We also have the ability to winch stumps out if it is not suitable for the stump grinder, I.e it is in a tight space.

Log splitting services

If your tree is to be taken down or heavily pruned, why not process the wood for use on your home fire. We own a 25 tonne log splitter excellent for working in small spaces. We can also hand split wood manually where required.

We are often called to remove trees that are difficult to get to, or in awkward places.

Additional Services

Platform / Cherry picker

We own our own 15m platform equipment, which means we can save you the need to hire at an additional cost. Our platform is battery powered and therefore excellent for areas where quiet operating is required, as it is much less noisy than standard platforms.

Wood Chip

We are happy to leave any wood chippings on site should you wish to keep it - wood chip is a great product and can be used in a variety of ways around the garden, we are happy to offer advice on this.

Wood Carving and bespoke furniture

We are happy to carve or make bespoke furniture on request, for instance, many people like and old stump to be carved into an outdoor seat. We also have the ability to plank your wood for other use should you require it.

Qualified horticulturalist and garden services

In addition to your tree needs we are qualified horticulturists and can advise on and supply replacement plants and shrubbery, including ongoing maintenance if required. We also have a wide range of equipment for garden services in addition to tree surgery. Much of our equipment is battery powered and so suitable for noise sensitive areas.

Hedge Cutting

In addition to tree work we have specialist hedge cutting equipment and a huge amount of experience in this area, which is an often underestimated task.

Garden Clearance

In addition to our other services we also offer garden clearance, again using noise sensitive equipment. We have a waste carriers licence and are sensitive to any wildlife that may be present in this situation.

Wildlife and ecology

We are qualified ecologists so during the course of all of our work we are sensitive to the needs of wildlife, and can advise on the running of your garden with this in mind. We can supply and put up bird, bat and owl boxes if required.

Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Areas

We are experienced and regularly deal with trees that have Tree Preservation Orders upon them or fall within conservation areas. We have a good relationship with the local authority in this area and can advise accordingly.

Planting

We can supply and plant any tree of your choice and advise on ongoing maintenance. We can advise on the best tree for your circumstance, soil type, location etc.
